December 14, 2017 Wreaths Across America caravan made a stop at Silver Lake Elementary School in Middletown, DE. Their mission is to REMEMBER – HONOR – TEACH.
The students were out in force to Welcome everyone on this cold, chilly morning..

The audience acknowledges MOH Col. Roger Donlon. He was the first Medal of Honor recipient in the Vietnam War, as well as first green beret (special forces) recipient.

in 5th grade at Silver Lake and has been speaking about this event since
last year when they first held it at her school.

Gold Star Mother Judy Faunce was a guest speaker. She spoke to the children of her fallen son, Capt. Brian Richard Faunce, KIA Iraq 9/18/2003, explaining to the audience what Wreaths Across America means to a Gold Star Mother.
