Dave Lalush, holding the folded American flag, whose only son Michael Vernon Lalush was killed in a UH-1N Huey helicopter crash in southern Iraq. He was assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA)-169, Marine Aircraft Group-39, Marine Corps Air Station, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on March 30, 2003.

PNP Georgie Carter Krell whose son Bruce Wayne Carter, gave his life for his country in Vietnam in 1963. Vice President Spiro Agnew posthumously awarded Bruce the Congressional Medal of Honor in 1972.

Judi A. Tapper whose son Petty Officer First Class David M. Tapper was killed in action while serving in Afghanistan on August 20, 2003

PNP American Gold Star Mother Ruth Stonesifer whose son Spc. Kristofor T. Stonesifer died in a Blackhawk helicopter crash in Pakistan on October 19, 2001 during Operation Enduring Freedom
